General Settings
General Settings is your website's foundation - where you configure the look, feel, and structure that appears across your entire site. This includes your logo, header navigation, SEO defaults, and legal pages.

What You'll Configure
- SEO Settings: Default meta titles and descriptions for search engines

SEO Settings
Your default SEO settings apply to all pages unless overridden on individual pages.
Title
What It Is: The default page title that appears in search results and browser tabs.
Best Practices:
- Keep it 50-60 characters long
- Include your business name
- Add your primary keyword
- Make it compelling and accurate
Examples:
- ✅ Good: "Jane Doe Real Estate | Luxury Homes in Miami"
- ❌ Too Long: "Jane Doe Real Estate - The Premier Luxury Real Estate Agent Serving Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach"
- ❌ Too Short: "Jane Doe"
Default Value: Your business name (from account settings)
Description
What It Is: The default meta description that appears under your title in search results.
Best Practices:
- Keep it 150-160 characters long
- Write naturally - this is your sales pitch!
- Include relevant keywords without stuffing
- Encourage clicks with compelling copy
Examples:
- ✅ Good: "Search for the most updated real estate listings in the MLS and schedule your property showings in minutes. Expert local guidance for Miami buyers and sellers."
- ❌ Too Short: "Real estate listings."
- ❌ Keyword Stuffing: "Miami real estate Miami homes Miami condos Miami luxury real estate Miami property Miami MLS Miami agent"
Default Value: "Search for the most updated real estate listings in the MLS and schedule your property showings in minutes."
How to Edit SEO Settings
- Navigate to Pages → General Settings
- Scroll to the SEO Settings section
- Click "Edit SEO Settings" button
- Update Title and Description
- Click Save
💡 Pro Tip: Write your SEO title and description as if you're writing a mini ad. Make people want to click!
Logos
Upload and configure all logos that appear across your website.
Logo Types
1. Home Page Logo
Where It Appears: On your homepage header
Recommended Size:
- Width: 200-400px
- Height: Proportional (usually 50-150px)
- Format: PNG with transparent background (preferred) or JPG
Use Case: This can be a different, more elaborate logo for your homepage since there's usually more space.
2. Pages Logo
Where It Appears: On all interior pages (profile, contact, listings, etc.)
Recommended Size:
- Width: 150-300px
- Height: Proportional
- Format: PNG with transparent background (preferred) or JPG
Use Case: Usually a simplified version of your brand that works well in a navigation bar.
3. Property Search Logo
Where It Appears: On the property search and listing pages
Recommended Size:
- Width: 150-300px
- Height: Proportional
- Format: PNG with transparent background (preferred) or JPG
Use Case: Often the same as Pages Logo, but can be different if you want distinct branding for your IDX search.
4. Favicon
Where It Appears: Browser tabs, bookmarks, and shortcuts
Recommended Size:
- Dimensions: 512x512px (square)
- Format: PNG or ICO
- Minimum: 180x180px
Use Case: A simplified icon version of your brand (just initials or a symbol usually works best).
Logo Width Settings
Configure how large your logo displays on different devices.
Desktop Width
- Default: 250px
- Range: 100px - 500px
- Adjust based on your logo's dimensions
Mobile & Tablet Width
- Default: 250px
- Range: 80px - 300px
- Usually smaller than desktop for better mobile UX
How to Upload Logos
- Navigate to Pages → General Settings
- Scroll to the Logos section
- Click the upload area for the logo you want to change
- Select your image file
- Crop if needed (you can choose free crop)
- Save
To Adjust Logo Width:
- Click "Edit Logo" button
- Adjust Desktop Width slider
- Adjust Mobile & Tablet Width slider
- Preview changes
- Click Save

Top Menu
An optional announcement bar that appears above your main header across all pages.
What It's For
Use the top menu to:
- Announce special offers or promotions
- Share important updates
- Display your tagline or value proposition

Color
- Solid background color
- Choose any hex color
- Better visibility, more prominent
Message (Quote)
The text that appears in the top menu.
Examples:

- "Schedule Your Free Home Valuation Today"
- "Serving Miami Families Since 2010"
- "100+ Homes Sold This Year"
Tips:
- Keep it short (under 100 characters)
- Make it actionable if possible
- Use emojis sparingly for visual interest
External Link
Optional URL where the top menu clicks through.
Examples:
- Link to a landing page
- Link to contact form
- Link to featured listings
- Link to new development
Note: Leave blank if you don't want the menu to be clickable.
How to Configure Top Menu
- Navigate to Pages → General Settings
- Scroll to Top Menu section
- Click "Edit Top Menu" button
- Choose Style (Transparent or Color)
- If Color: Select Background Color
- Enter your Message

- Logo on left side

- Three-level header structure
- Best for: Maximum information display
Background Style Options
Transparent
- See-through header
- Text overlays your content

White / Colored
- Solid background color
