Overview

Saved Searches let visitors save their search criteria (price, location, beds/baths) and receive automatic email alerts when new matching properties are listed.

How It Works:

  1. Visitor searches your site (e.g., "3BR under $500K in Miami")
  2. Clicks "Save This Search"
  3. Enters email (auto-creates contact)
  4. Gets email alerts when matching listings appear

Search Alert Emails

Email Contains:

  • Instant (as soon as listed)

  • Custom schedule

Managing Saved Searches

Access: CRM → Contacts → [Contact] → Saved Searches tab

View:

  • All active searches for contact
  • Search criteria (price, location, beds, etc.)
  • Alert frequency
  • Last sent date
  • Open/click rates

Editing Search Criteria

When to Edit:

  • Contact's needs changed
  • Too many/too few alerts
  • Refining search parameters
  • Adding new criteria

How:

  1. Open saved search
  2. Click Edit Criteria
  3. Adjust fields
  4. Save (takes effect immediately)

Alert Frequency Control

Options:

  • Instant (real-time)
  • Daily (morning digest)
  • Weekly (weekend digest)
  • Paused (temporarily off)

Best Practice: Start with daily, adjust based on feedback


Performance Tracking

Monitor:

  • Alert delivery rate (emails sent)
  • Open rate (% who open)
  • Click rate (% who view properties)
  • Response rate (% who inquire)

Optimize:

  • Pause low-engagement searches

Property Alerts notify contacts about new listings matching their criteria. Alerts can be automatic (from saved searches) or manual (you send specific properties).
