Best Practices

Focus on Conversion: A thousand visitors with no leads is worse than 100 visitors with 5 leads. Track lead capture sources and optimize conversion.

Start Simple: Begin with 3-5 core events (MLS Listings, New Developments, Property Search). Add more as you understand patterns.

Act on Data: Double down on what works - increase marketing on highest-converting traffic sources and create more content similar to popular pages.

Regular Monitoring: Check daily for new leads, review weekly for trends, and analyze monthly for strategy adjustments.

Common Use Cases

Track Property Interest

Enable Likes, Collections, and Shares to see which properties generate the most engagement from potential buyers.

Monitor Search Behavior

Enable Property Search and AI Search to understand what visitors are looking for and optimize your listings.

Measure Content Performance

Enable Stories, Area Pages, and New Developments to see which content attracts visitors and drives engagement.

Optimize Lead Capture

Enable all form-related events to identify which pages convert visitors to leads and improve conversion rates.

Troubleshooting

Events not appearing in dashboard?

  • Ensure event is toggled ON in Events Tracking settings
  • Wait 5-10 minutes for data to populate
  • Verify visitors are actually triggering the event

Too much event data?

  • Disable less important events
  • Focus on conversion actions only
  • Use date filters to narrow results

High traffic but low lead capture rate?

  • Add more calls-to-action on popular pages
  • Optimize forms (reduce fields to name, email, phone only)
  • Ensure property inquiry buttons are visible
  • Test mobile experience (60-70% of traffic)
