Complete step-by-step guide to set up your Panda IDX account, choose a plan, configure your domain, and launch your real estate website in 20-30 minutes.

Complete Setup
Create Your Account
Visit login.pandaidx.com and create your account.
Required Information:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Password
After signing up, verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
Choose Your Plan
Select the plan that best fits your needs.
Available Plans:
- Starter - For solo agents getting started
- Professional - For established agents and small teams
- Team - For growing teams with multiple agents
- Enterprise - For brokerages and large teams
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from Account Settings → Billing.
Connect Your Domain
Configure your custom domain to use with your IDX website.
Option A: Use Existing Domain
- Go to Settings → Domain
- Click "Connect Custom Domain"
- Enter your domain name (e.g.,
yourname.com) - Add the following DNS records at your domain registrar:
Type: A Record
Name: @
Value: [Provided by Panda IDX]
Type: CNAME Record
Name: www
Value: [Provided by Panda IDX]- Wait for DNS propagation (24-48 hours, usually faster)
Option B: Use Panda Subdomain (Temporary)
Use the free subdomain: yourname.pandaidx.com
- Great for testing before going live
- Switch to custom domain anytime
DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate, but usually work within a few hours.
Configure Basic Settings
Navigate to Pages → General Settings to set up your branding.
Logo & Branding
- Upload your logo (PNG or SVG recommended)
- Upload favicon (16x16 or 32x32 pixels)
- Set primary and secondary brand colors
SEO Settings
- Site title (e.g., "Jane Doe Real Estate")
- Site description for search engines
- Meta keywords (your name, real estate, city, neighborhoods)
Header & Footer
- Add your phone number and email
- Add social media links (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Add legal links (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service)
Build Your Homepage
Navigate to Pages → Home Page to create your main landing page.
Hero Section
- Upload background image (high-quality property photo or cityscape)
- Write compelling headline: "Find Your Dream Home in [Your City]"
- Add subheadline describing your service
- Enable property search bar (connected to MLS)
- Add CTA buttons ("Search Listings", "Contact Me")
Featured Listings
- Enable "Featured Listings" section
- Display 4-8 properties
- Select criteria: manual selection, newest listings, price range, or specific neighborhoods
About Me Section
- Upload professional headshot
- Write your bio (2-3 paragraphs covering experience, specialties, service area)
- Add credentials and certifications (license number, CRS, GRI, ABR)
Call-to-Action Section
- Choose layout style (banner, card, or split)
- Write compelling copy: "Ready to Buy or Sell? Let's Talk!"
- Add contact form or phone number
Click "Save" and "Preview" to test on desktop and mobile.
Create Your Profile Page
Navigate to Pages → Profile Page to showcase your credentials.
Profile Header
- Upload cover photo (professional photo or office location)
- Upload headshot
- Add name, title, and tagline
Bio & Credentials
- Write detailed bio (how you got into real estate, your approach, local expertise)
- Add license number and certifications
- List specialties (buyer/seller representation, luxury, first-time buyers, investment)
Contact Information
- Phone number (click-to-call enabled)
- Email address
- Office address and service areas
- Social media profiles
Statistics Showcase (Optional)
- Homes sold this year
- Years of experience
- Client satisfaction rating
- Average days on market
Save and preview your profile page.
Set Up Contact Forms
Navigate to Settings → Lead Forms to configure lead capture.
Form Fields
- Full Name (required)
- Email (required)
- Phone (optional but recommended)
- Message (optional)
Notifications
- Enable email notifications for new leads
- Set notification email address
- Enable SMS notifications (optional)
Auto-Response
- Enable auto-response email to leads
- Customize welcome message
- Include your contact information and next steps
CRM Integration
All form submissions automatically sync to CRM → Contacts with:
- Lead source tracking (homepage, profile, listing)
- Timestamp of submission
- Contact information
- Form message
Test your forms! Submit a test lead and verify you receive the notification and it appears in CRM.
Forms are automatically added to:
- Homepage (in CTA sections)
- Profile page
- Contact page
- Individual property listings
Configure Your CRM
Navigate to CRM → Contacts to set up your contact management.
Contact Settings
- Import existing contacts (CSV upload available)
- Create contact segments (buyers, sellers, leads, past clients)
- Set up tags for organization
Inbox Settings
- Connect your email (Gmail, Outlook, or custom SMTP)
- Enable AI-suggested responses
- Set up email templates for quick replies
Transaction Pipelines
- Create custom pipeline stages (Lead → Showing → Offer → Under Contract → Closed)
- Set up multiple pipelines if needed (Buyer, Seller, Rental)

Test Your Website
Before going live, run through this comprehensive testing checklist:
Visual Check
- Homepage and profile page load correctly
- All images load properly and are optimized
- No typos or formatting issues
- Colors match your brand
- Logo and favicon display correctly
Mobile Check
- Test on your phone (iOS and Android if possible)
- Navigation menu works smoothly
- Images scale properly and load fast
- Buttons are tappable (not too small)
- Forms are easy to fill out on mobile
- Property search works on mobile
Functionality Check
- Contact forms submit successfully
- Property search bar returns results
- All navigation links go to correct pages

Lead Capture Test
- Submit a test contact form
- Verify email notification received
- Check that lead appears in CRM → Contacts
- Test auto-response email (check spam folder)
- Verify lead source is tracked correctly

Going Live
- Go to Settings → General
- Toggle off "Maintenance Mode"
- Ensure all pages are set to "Published" (not "Draft")
- Go to Settings → Advanced
- Click "Clear Cache" to ensure fresh content

Share your new website with the world:
- Post on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Update email signature with website URL
- Update MLS profile and listing descriptions
